SECRETS - Jamie Starks, a determined newspaper reporter, becomes enthralled in a serial rapist case in her neighborhood. After an emotional meeting with Rosa, one of the attacker's latest victims, Jamie becomes suspicious of Rosa's neighbor who eyes her suspiciously as she leaves the woman's home. Later that night, a noise summons Jamie downstairs to investigate. Meanwhile, Rosa has decided to grant Jamie's request for a detailed description of her own story, and narrates her experiences unknowing that at that same time Jamie has fallen victim to an errily similiar fate.
THE RESTAURANT - Marvin, a new busboy working at a small restaurant, becomes infatuated with a regular customer. Lana, a pretty business woman, shows interest in the man, much to the dismay of Sylvia, the intruding restaurant manager. But Lana's deep spiritual roots tell her there is more to the busboy than meets the eyes. She struggles to find comfort in his words even as she struggles to find her own self identity. Sylvia's heartlessness is never more evident than when a homeless man seeks comfort from a cool wind inside the warmth of the restaurant. But her anger gives way to shock when Lana returns to the restaurant that same day with surprising news. Together, Sylvia and Lana are jolted by Marvin's own revelation.
